Hi Jim
After all these years.
Folk Music...who wooda thunk?
I grew up surrounded by mountain folk music in WVa.
All that time we spent in the Navy and we never made the music connection...
Guess we were too busy playing with airplanes...
12:26 PM on March 27, 2011
Look forward to hearing you!

hi John,
Thanks so much! I'm a Mike Kobluk fan, and of course a long time CMT fan as well.
I'd love to discover more places to play, so maybe I'll hear from your Syracuse area friend.
i hope we get to meet when you get up in the Finger Lakes region, John.
best,
jim

Jim, I stumbled across you as I was visiting Mike Kobluk's Facebook page. I worked with Mike several years ago (in the public assembly facility management business, not in the folk music business). I've listened to several pieces at http://www.reverbnation.com/jimclaresongs and just wanted to tell you how much I liked them. I see you are available to do gigs around the Finger Lakes region; I may encourage a friend in Syracuse to get something going in the area and invite me up (I'm in Dallas) to hear you play! All the best.

Jim,
I'm glad to hear you're keeping up with your music. I remember lots of tunes on the back deck of the liquid dillema. I've been playing in a bluegrass-gospel/folk group in our church for the last 15 years. We have a lot of fun! I play drums, washboard, congas and a little harmonica. I love to play- if you ever need a little percussion let me know. Hannah and I like live music so we'll keep an eye one your schedule. Dick Sherman

Brother Jim, Nice work with Mark producing these well written songs. We are at the stage in life when we look back at what we have accomplished and smile. Childhood memories, old loves and war buddies become the fodder for new songs. Your music feels like an old friend coming out of the speakers; easy on the ears, tender to the touch and tugging at the heart. I hope you find your audience and most of all a recording artist to take one of these gems to the world of successful commercial music.
