TUNES BY THE TRACKS is racing up the line, for a May 2nd arrival at Clifton Springs library.
Your wholly wholesome hosts, Jim Clare, Cathy McGrath, and Allen Hopkins are thrilled and pleased to welcome a brannie new Feature:
~ GERRY TIMLIN ~
is a great favorite in the USA and Canada. He's a Delaware-based singer. who has enjoyed success all over the world. Born in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Gerry developed an early interest in traditional Irish music and in folk music. From the time he was a wee bairn, Gerry displayed a musical talent, winning several singing competitions in Northern Ireland when he was still in his teens. He moved to the USA in the early seventies, and has been delighting audiences with his smooth baritone voice and his irreverent humor ever since. in 2014, he was honored to perform with his singing partner, Tom Kane, at the Congressional Friends of Ireland Luncheon on Capital Hill for The President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Prime Minister of Ireland, members of Congress.
Us Trackers will be meeting Gerry for the first time next Wednesday, and it's surely destined to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
~ THE MYSTERY PICKERS ~
Of course, the second half of the evening will include the celebrated Mystery Pickers performing with passion and aplomb...(I think Passion & Aplomb may be a CPA firm down to the suthren tier)
If you would like to take a turn as a Mystery Picker...just axe Cathy, Allen, or Jim (me), and kazingo...yer in.
