Your habitually hospitable hosts, Jim Clare, Cathy McGrath, and Allen Hopkins, are excited and just a little bit curious to welcome some talented and engaging new artists as our Feature:
Copper Hill, https://www.facebook.com/pg/CopperHillFolk/about/?ref=page_internal" target="_blank">http://https://www.facebook.com/pg/CopperHillFolk/about/?ref=page_internal
An alternative folk band consisting of Willa Finck and Katie Knudsvig on violin and vocals, Ethan Cypress on banjo and trombone, and Caroline Samuels on bass and vocals, they are a group of young Eastman trained musicians came into being in 2017, and they're creating quite a buzz in their home base of Rochester.
Not our familiar con-fusion bands, Copper Hill has been dubbed a folk-fusion band, performing songs and tunes across a wide range of folk genres, from Irish to Blues to Old-Time.
They combine a banquet of thoughtful arrangements of traditional tunes with a sweet style of song-writing, that is sometimes decidedly tongue in cheek.
It's gonna be fun and intimate evening and we hope a prodigious passel of you Trackers show up to enjoy the show, and make COPPER HILL very welcome.
~ THE MYSTERY PICKERS ~
And...adding to the tumult and the shouting...our always exciting stalwarts, will step into the limelite, to perform a favorite song from their repertoires, and melt our cold January hearts.
Wanna give it a try?? Just ask Cathy, Allen, or Jim (moi), and a yer career will be in show bizness will be launched...

TUNES BY THE TRACKS, Featuring JOHN DADY and Friends
Posted on 27 December, 2019 at 17:55 |

His brother Joe left us last May, and he left behind a hole in all our hearts, but most of all, the empty place in his brother John's heart will always be there.
After nearly 45 years as half of the magnificent Dady Brothers duo, many artists would have stepped away.
It's our great good fortune that John's courage and his passion for the music made him decide to carry the Dady flame forward on his own.
John Michael Ryan, a young and accomplished traditional Irish musician from Rochester who plays the tin whistle and button accordion. Ryan has said he was inspired to learn to play after listening to the Dady Brothers as a child. Ryan was mentored by Marty O’Keefe, long a mainstay in the Irish music community.
Perry Cleaveland, Perry is a keystone friend of us Trackers. A master of his craft, whether he's playing Mandolin, Fiddle, Guitar, or singing beautiful harmony, Perry lifts every song he plays to a higher level.
He's the go-to guy for all the cool music kids in Rochester, the Finger Lakes and Central New York.
...so all you Trackers...start the New Year on the perfect note, and join us at the library on Jan 8th.
~ THE MYSTERY PICKERS ~
Of course, no show would be complete without the antics, tomfoolery, and delightful music of the bold buskers who fearlessly step into
the spotlight to regale us with a favorite song...often it's one that they actually know.
Wanna give it a try?? Just ask Cathy, Allen, or Jim, and faster than a speeding bullet...you too, will be among the anointed.
