About Me
Hello music lovers! Grateful to be here and to be invited to post on Jim's site. Jim's CD is an excellent collection of folk music thats "pulls" at you as well as "engages" you and as others have already said, you just can't turn it off. From my "humble" perspective it is very good song writing that is uniquely original and moves nicely with hook after hook. Again, great job on the CD Jim! It has a timeless quality to it that is so wonderful and universal. I am from Seneca Falls, NY and spent many summer days down on Cayuga Lake. My close friend's parent had a summer home in Canoga. Being there during those days in the summers of my youth was an amazing experience and pretty much indescribable. Everything from high times to flashing red lights to all the things we experience when we are coming of age. What a way to acquire the metaphysics of my teen years and to survive it all and go to college, well I am a blessed man that's all I can say. Still learning guitar, as I started just 4 years ago but I am hooked for good. I take lessons in Auburn and have done so for 3 years now. I love the old classics from the 60s and 70s and right now I am starting to get into a trek that I think I will stay in for a while. This is the music of bands like the Eagles, Poco, and John Denver. I play rhythm guitar and am trying some sing along with my instructor. It's fun that's all I can say and I truly like it and what it gives me. Thank you for the time.
